Alarm Permit Application

This page provides the forms for Allied Security Group, Inc. Customers to register their intrusion alarms in Summit County. and history on the subject.

If you had a permit last year, you will get a renewal notice directly from Summit County for the next years permit.

In response to frequent false alarms, the municipalities and County of Summit County have adopted a false alarm ordinance which requires a permit for all intrusion alarms if a response from law enforcement agencies is expected. There is no requirement for a permit for fire alarm and panic dispatch requests.

If you have never had a permit and want one, download the Forms by
clicking here. Make sure to write your name, mailing address and propery address on the invoice form, and mail back both the invoice form and alarm registration form with payment to us. This ensures that we enable police response with the central station.  We then, forward the forms and check to Summit County.  If you want dual zone verification (two or more different zones need to trip before police response) sign your name in option 3.  This will reduce the chance of a false dispatch.  It also reduces the security level, you make the call here. The forms are in Adobe Acrobat format (PDF).  You will need  version 5 or later of this program to open them.  This program can be downloaded free of charge by clicking here.

Paperwork is mailed back to us. We are required to turn the application into the County with the required fee. Contact information entered on the County's registration form does not change your information on file with us. If you want to change contact information with us, Use the pull down above and under "Information and Resources" , choose "Subscriber Update Form"  When you have completed the application and Invoice form, please mail both forms and permit fee to: Allied Security Group, Inc., Attention: Permits, P.O. Box 7098, Breckenridge, CO 80424. Thank You !!
